FIFA’s study done on the footballers speed across the globe revealed that players from English Premier League have dominated the chart. Football clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, each have two players make it to the top 10 chart. To conclude the results of the study, FIFA have measured the top speeds of players across all major leagues during matches in recent months. However, some of the players like Hector Bellerin who is the fastest player in Arsenal is not included in the chart, whereby his fellow teammates like Alexis Sanchez make it to the top 10. Players like Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Agbonlahor or Raphael Varane are out of the top 10 as well. Perhaps these players are not regularly played as the first team for their respective club in recent months.

10. Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal) – 30.1 km/h

At a speed of 32.7km/h, Walcott has been named by FIFA as one of top 10 fastest players in the world. Walcott has been the fastest player in Arsenal, however, in a recent interview, Walcott revealed that Bellerin has broken his sprint record.
