Footballers are seriously well paid, especially for those at top of the professional football are often offered a lucrative contract. Forbes reported that the world’s highest paid football was said to have earned a total of $82million. The ranking below was based on Forbes which was updated in May 2016, before the summer transfer windows open.
10. Cesc Fabregas
Club: Chelsea
Earnings: $21 million
Salary & Bonus: $16 million

The ex-Arsenal captain and Barca player make it to the top 10 highest paid football player chart. The Spanish midfielder return to London in a £30m move from Barcelona, earning £150,000 per week.
9. Eden Hazard

Earnings: $22 million
Salary & Bonus: $18 million

At number 9 is Eden Hazard, the Belgian professional footballer who plays for Chelsea and the Belgium national team. Hazard was transferred to Chelsea from Lilie in 2012, and the transfer fee was reported to be £32m. Based on his new contract which will end in year 2020, Hazard is getting £200,000 per week.

Last season, the Uruguayan striker finishes as La Liga top scorer, this is the first time in six seasons, someone other than Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi has won the trophy as the top scorer. Suarez is currently banking in £23m per year.
